Continuing education requirements vary from state to state, and legislation is changing as people become more aware of the importance of high-quality education in the body-health industry. The staff of Hickory Mart Shows takes great pride in facilitating this confusing process.
Massage therapists from all states may attend CEU-approved classes presented by Category A instructors through the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB). Documentation of class participation will be provided for participants to send to their state boards.
Estheticians in the state of North Carolina need to have completed eight class hours of education approved by the NC State Board of Cosmetic Arts by the end of September every year.
Cosmetologists in the state of North Carolina must have completed the three-year requirement of 24 class hours of education approved by the NC State Board of Cosmetic Arts by the end of September, 2010.

The South Carolina Board of Cosmetology has approved the Southern Spa & Salon Conference as a provider of Continuing Education for licensees from their state.
