Electrotherapy remains a staple in the esthetic arena and is an integral part of the modalities presented in the salon, spa or clinical setting. Evolutionary research and esthetic integration in the clinical community have necessitated electrotherapy training for the modern esthetician to become more advanced, particularly with the newer technologies, devices, protocols and products. The class will include a review of the general electricity principals, electrotherapeutic components and devices, various electrical currents and uses in salon, spa and clinical settings.
